Abstracts
Abstract photography is difficult to define. In general, abstraction occurs when a photographer captures a portion of a specific scene, isolating it from its contextual environment. By focusing on a segment of the object, whether it by color, shape, form, or texture, the artist is able to create a unique perception of the familiar. This method of expressing ideas deviates from photography’s traditional realism and is intended to capture the viewer’s imagination. These images are a representational sample of works or scenes from a number of my series.
